Two soft serve ice cream brands, DOLE® Soft Serve and Frostline® Frozen Treats recently launched websites for their brands. The two foodservice brands are a division of Kent Precision Foods Group (KPFG) of St. Louis, Mo. Previously, DOLE® Soft Serve and Frostline® were represented on the KPFG website. Now, each brand has their own website. “Both brands having their own website is exciting,” says Jamie Schwartz, product marketing manager for DOLE® Soft Serve and Frostline® Frozen Treats. “We anticipate that our operators and potential customers will have a better online experience getting straight to the information they need most.”
DOLE® Soft Serve’s website went live this June. The website has product information, serving suggestions and point of sale (POS) material. Visitors can find preparation instructions, flavor nutritionals, product benefits, case pack information and ingredients for each flavor. Also, DOLE® Soft Serve provides downloadable materials for operators. Social media links for Twitter, Facebook and the brand’s blog are also represented. Requests for product samples are generated from the new website’s “contact us” form and product can be purchased directly from the company store.
Frostline® Frozen Treats’ new website launched earlier this spring. The site allows operators access to product information for soft serve, frozen yogurt and frozen beverage mixes as well as the brand’s flavor packets. It highlights the benefits of adding frozen treats to food and beverage menus, provides more than 30 specialty flavor recipes and offers downloadable marketing and promotional materials. Operators can submit an electronic contact request form that is received by the customer service department for more product information. Redirection to the brand’s Facebook, Twitter and blog pages is easily accomplished from the new website.
